The City of Conway is accepting resumes for the position of Accountant working in the Finance Department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; or four or more years’ experience in governmental finance; or a combination of experience and education.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
• Must be able to effectively communicate information to the public, all City departments and employees including the Mayor and City Council.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and formulate conclusions and present feasible solutions.

Primary job duties are preparation of bank reconciliations, posting journal entries, and preparing schedules for audit.
