The City of Conway is currently seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Sex Offender Coordinator – Victim Services Specialist in the Conway Police Department. This non-uniform role involves providing crucial services and assistance to citizens of Conway who have been victims of crime. The position also supports the Criminal Investigations Division and serves as a liaison for violent crime and domestic violence victims. Additionally, the Assistant Sex Offender Coordinator plays a key role in the coordination of the sex offender registry.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret law enforcement journals, criminal justice system reports, and legal documents.
• Effective communication skills with diverse backgrounds under crisis or stressful conditions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers; perform mathematical skills using money and other forms of measurement.
• Ability to use common sense understanding to carry out multi-step instructions and deal with standardized situations.
• Intermediate experience with basic software such as, Contact Management, Database, Presentation/PowerPoint, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing.
