The City of Conway is accepting resumes for a Facilities Manager responsible for day to day repair and maintenance of all Parks & Recreation equipment, grounds and buildings. This position works closely with the Special Services Coordinator to keep all equipment operating and maintained. Performs specialty repairs that would normally require help from outside of the department. Performs basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and construction for the department. Requires a working knowledge of HVAC, chemicals and fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides, welding, basic construction and operation of equipment. This position works closely with the Development Manager on bidding for supplies, contracted work and buying equipment. The position is also responsible for maintaining supplies for lighting, vehicles equipment, mowers and buildings.
Associate’s degree (AA); three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training, and 12 to 18 months related management experience; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered for the minimum qualifications.
