The City of Conway is accepting resumes for a Marketing Coordinator, reporting to the Community Center Director. The Marketing Coordinator manages the website and posts updates on social media outlets for the Community Center Department, assists with data analysis and event planning, and markets the department to the public with ads, flyers, videos, and signage. This position collaborates with other City Departments and partners to generate events and programs at the facility.

Requirements:

  • Four (4) year college degree; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Two (2) years of experience in community outreach, administration, or a related area
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of social media marketing for promoting regular and special events
  • Ability to plan and schedule facility use
  • Ability to solicit sponsorships for department and community activities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with public and civic organizations to manage events
  • Ability to direct and supervise employees involved in community programs and events
  • Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and city events as needed
  • Must ensure employees follow City policies and safety procedures

Starting salary is $56,650.00 per year.
