Splash Pad Render

Laurel Park will soon be home to a 5,485 square foot splash pad. The splash pad will have 14 above ground features and 25 ground sprays. It will include age-based play areas with age appropriate play products.

The toddler bay will contain gentle jet streams, 3 interactive helios, and an aqua dome. The family bay will contain a water tunnel, 2 spray misting loops, and the new helio number 5 with a self-spinning orb and tumble buckets. The action bay will contain the giant super splash, a 12 jet cylinder spray, 2 bamboo rings, 2 luna water cannons, and a helio 36.

The splash pad will be located on the playground side of Laurel Park near Robinson Ave. It will have an ADA entrance sidewalk, 4 shade structures, 4 picnic tables, 8 park benches and 4 trash receptacles.

The City of Conway plans to extend the parking area and add two larger pavilions.

The addition of the splash pad was made possible by a 50/50 grant that the city received in the amount of $165,000 from the Arkansas Department of Parks & Tourism. The total cost of this project will be $330,000.
