The sealed bids will then be opened and publicly read aloud. The work includes all labor, material, and equipment required to perform the work as described in the project plans and specifications.

Sealed bids submitted electronically will be opened in the Conway Mayor's Office, City Hall, 1111 Main St, Conway, Arkansas 72032, at 3:00 pm, local time Wednesday, March 6, 2024, and publicly read aloud, for furnishing all labor, material, and equipment, and performing all work required for the Conway Towne Center Access project in Conway, Arkansas.

The purpose of this project is to extend and improve approximately .25 miles of Lower Ridge Rd on new location in Conway, AR. This project consists of Clearing and Grubbing, Earthwork, ACHM Base, Binder, & Surface Courses, Curb & Gutter, Concrete Sidewalk, Storm Sewer, Thermoplastic Pavement Markings, Maintenance of Traffic, Erosion Control Items, and Misc. Items.

Proposals shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to City of Conway, Arkansas, or a bid bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract to him. The notice of award of Contract shall be given by the Owner within sixty (60) days following the opening of bids.

The successful Bidder must furnish a performance bond and a separate payment bond upon the forms provided herein in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner.

The attention of bidders is called to the fact that Act 150 of 1965 (as amended), Arkansas Statutes, states that a Contractor must be licensed by the State Licensing Board for Contractors before he may undertake work when the cost thereof in Arkansas is Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) or more.

The City of Conway is soliciting a REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) from qualified VENDORS interested in providing FLEET MAINTENANCE SERVICES for the City of Conway vehicles fleet.

Interested proposers must register for and submit proposals online at arkansas.ionwave.net. Paper submittals will be accepted, however online submittals are preferred. Paper submittals must be sealed and labeled “2024-2002 Fleet Maintenance”. All submittals must be received online at Arkansas.ionwave.net or paper copies must be received at Conway City Hall, 1111 Main Street, Conway AR 72032 by 3:00 P.M., on March 12, 2024, local time. The City of Conway is seeking annual statements of qualifications and performance data from prospective consulting firms to provide engineering and support services for public projects pursuant to State of Arkansas Procurement Laws and Rules, Subchapter 8, Procurement of Professional Services, paragraph R1:19-11-802.

Firms shall identify in their response to this Request for Qualifications, the Technical Areas listed below for which they want to be considered. During the selection process, each firm will be evaluated and ranked as to their qualifications to provide the services for each area of interest. Multiple firms may be selected for projects and services under each of the Technical Areas.
