Crews from the Conway Transportation Department are now on standby around the clock for whatever comes our way.

“We’re set to begin pretreating our streets with sand and salt. Plowing will begin as soon as we are needed and will continue for the duration of the storm,” said street director Jacob Reynolds. “Although snow is in the forecast just for one day, I expect our roads to be in bad condition for a few days. When it’s as cold as what’s forecasted, our plows have a difficult time breaking through the snow. We will do our best to have our streets back to normal as soon as possible.
