The Diversity & Economic Development Coordinator is a newly created position within the Office of the Mayor, designated to develop and implement various initiatives and programs that promote diversity & economic growth in the Conway community and city government. This position plans, organizes, and implements the City's economic development programs, and is responsible for implementing programs for continued community engagement and education.

The Diversity & Economic Development Coordinator leads the City's efforts to continue building a diverse and innovative economy in Conway by utilizing a diverse and robust workforce and developing, supporting, and implementing diversity and inclusion plans. This position will serve as a community liaison, a resource for the public (including property owners, businesses, and community and religious organizations) to promote diversity and inclusion in the Conway community.
