The Faulkner County Regional Solid Waste Management District will host its annual Electronic Waste Drive on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18 at the Conway Expo & Event Center.

This annual event helps prevent hazardous materials from entering landfills and provides residents with a safe and convenient way to dispose of unwanted electronics. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this free opportunity to safely recycle unwanted or outdated electronic equipment.

Friday, October 17 • 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Saturday, October 18 • 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Items Accepted

• Televisions (CRT, flat panel, plasma, etc.)

• Microwaves, mixers, phones (corded, cordless, and cellular)

• Entertainment goods (VCRs, DVD players, radios, speakers, etc.)

• Pagers, copy machines, fax machines, office telephone systems

• Cameras, recorders, alarms

Items Not Accepted

• Large appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, washers, or dryers

Important Information

• Residents should remain in their vehicles at all times. Event staff will unload items.

• Businesses bringing large quantities must have their e-waste palletized before arrival.

• If you are unable to attend, electronic recycling is accepted year-round at the Conway Department of Sanitation (4550 Highway 64 West).
