The City of Conway is accepting applications for a Kennel Technician working in the Animal Services Department. Requirements are:

• High School diploma or equivalent. Applicants without a diploma and at least 1 year of relevant experience may be considered.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work in adverse physical environment (inclement weather.)
• Must be available to work rotating shifts starting at 6:00 a.m., Sunday through Saturday

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Clean and disinfect kennel area and cat room
• Supply food, water, and personal care to detained animals
• Clean and disinfect all areas of the Animal Welfare Unit
• Vaccinate and/or administer medication to animals as directed

Salary is $16.7092 per hour/$34,755.00 annually with a competitive benefits package.
