Thank you for choosing Conway Community Center to teach you and your family about water safety.
- Swim lessons will begin promptly at their specified times. Please be sure to have the participant here at least 5 minutes before the class starts so that the instructor may update you on any information regarding the program.
Swim lessons will only take place during their arranged dates and times. No make-up lessons will be given.
All family members and friends are welcome to stay and watch from the observation deck upstairs. We ask those spectating to limit their interaction with participants. Each lesson time is limited and the student’s attention to the instructor is paramount to their success in the class.
Only students are permitted in the water during swim lessons. Adults may purchase Open Swim passes for use during the appropriate times.
Completing a swim lesson course at Conway Community Center does not guarantee the student will pass that course. Mastery of swimming, like any other sport, is dependent upon the participant and their ability to execute the skills required. In order to pass a course, students will be required to complete a series of skills in a sufficient manner.
All participants must shower before entering the pool.
If you or your child is sick with a communicable illness, please be courteous and stay home. If the participant has vomited or had diarrhea within the past 24 hours, they are not permitted to enter the pool.
For all facility scheduled events, parents will be notified in advance of any changes to the lesson schedule.
- If you or your child has any type of disability or disorder, please notify the instructor as soon as possible so they can devise a way to assist you.
- Lessons may be delayed or rescheduled due to lighting or severe weather for participant safety. Make up lessons are not guaranteed for missed classes.
If we must cancel swim lessons due to inclement weather, we will do our best to notify parents in a timely fashion.
