The City of Conway Department of Sanitation is accepting resumes for a professional Administrative Assistant who will serve as the primary point of contact for and liaison between City of Conway residents, employees and vendors.

 

Requirements are:

 

• Must have ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, while continuing to organize and maintain administrative processes.​​
• Must have strong Word and Excel skills with experience in Outlook.
• Ability to process payment requests, prepare purchase orders, track monthly expenses and other financial duties as required.
• Ability to manage accounting procedures. Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, formulate conclusions, and present feasible solutions.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with the public, other departments and all City employees.
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Must be willing to occasionally work flexible hours depending on the schedule or requirements of the department.
• Must have and maintain a current valid Arkansas Driver’s License.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent. Applicants without a degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience may be considered.

 

Annual salary is $37,129 with a competitive benefits package. A background investigation will be conducted before employment can begin. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.is
