The City of Conway Department of Sanitation is accepting resumes for a professional Administrative Assistant who will serve as the primary point of contact for and liaison between City of Conway residents, employees and vendors.
Requirements:
Must have ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, while continuing to organize and maintain administrative processes.
Must have strong Word and Excel skills with experience in Outlook.
Ability to process payment requests, prepare purchase orders, track monthly expenses and other financial duties as required.
Ability to manage accounting procedures. Prior cash handling experience preferred.
Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, formulate conclusions, and present feasible solutions.
Must be able to effectively communicate with the public, other departments and all City employees.
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
Must be willing to occasionally work flexible hours depending on the schedule or requirements of the department.
Must have and maintain a current valid Arkansas Driver’s License.
Associate’s degree or equivalent. Applicants without a degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience may be considered.
