The Earl and Mary Louise Rogers family donated the land to the city in 2012.  The site had been part of the Earl Rogers Co. NAPA auto parts store, which had been a longtime fixture in downtown Conway at Oak and Van Ronkle.

In 2014, Rogers Plaza was opened, providing a signature entrance into the downtown area as well as a place for people to congregate in the area. 

Rogers Plaza features a fountain and an archway welcoming visitors to Historic Downtown Conway.  During the holiday season, Rogers Plaza is home to the city’s Christmas tree display.
