This small 1.5-acre park is located in one of Conway’s historic African-American neighborhoods, and named for the street where is it located.  The park is located on the site of the city’s old, segregated school, which educated Black students into the late 1960’s before Conway schools were fully integrated.  The Pine Street High School sports teams were known as the Polar Bears.
