The City of Conway is accepting applications for a Part-Time Airport Line Technician at Conway’s Cantrell Field Airport. The Airport Line Technician performs line service duties, including parking aircraft, fueling aircraft, moving aircraft in and out of hangars, conducting airport safety inspections, and providing customer service through telephone, UNICOM radio, and in-person interactions with the public.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have and maintain a valid Arkansas Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate airport equipment including aircraft refuelers, tugs, towbars, GPUs, and related equipment.
• Ability to perform and document regular airport safety inspections.
• Ability to prioritize work tasks when working independently.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Must be willing to work in adverse physical environments, including inclement weather and loud noise conditions.
• Ability to maintain productive and cordial relationships with airport employees, airport tenants, and the general public.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Previous airport line service experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule:
Part-time, not to exceed 29 hours per week.
