It is the mission of the Conway Parks and Recreation Department to provide leisure and recreational opportunities for the benefit of health, happiness, and well-being of our citizens. This mission is achieved by providing quality parks and recreational facilities as well as creating tourism opportunities which benefit both our citizens and our local businesses.
Host an event
Whether it’s a community gathering, a corporate outing, or a special celebration, our parks provide the perfect backdrop. All events require approval, so please complete the application form and send it to Tyler Whitmire via email at Tyler.Whitmire@conwayarkansas.gov. We will review your application and notify you of your event’s status promptly.

Birthday parties and family reunions
No application is required for birthday parties or family reunions at pavilions. Reserve them here.
Code of Conduct
All park and program users shall:
- Follow the safety rules and park regulations
- Show respect to all participants, spectators, staff, and volunteers
- Show respect for equipment, supplies, and facilities
- Using abusive or foul language is prohibited
- Any intimidating or threatening gestures and behavior is prohibited
- Arguing with umpires or staff is prohibited
- Conduct that disrupts any program, event, or individual recreation experience is prohibited
- Participants must follow program rules and take direction from umpires and/or parks staff
Conway Parks & Recreation reserves the right to take immediate or long-term disciplinary action against those who don’t adhere to the above rules. Please be aware that some Code of Conduct violations may also be subject to criminal prosecution. Any of the following consequences may be applied whenever an individual is found to be in violation of the Code of Conduct.
- Verbal / Written Warning
- Removal and/or short-term suspension from the facility and/ or program.
- Long-term suspension from the facility and program for a specified period of time
