The kennels at Conway Animal Services are fully climate controlled to ensure the health, comfort, and well-being of every animal in our care. Whether it’s the heat of summer or the chill of winter, our facility maintains a consistent indoor temperature to provide a safe and comfortable environment year-round.

As of July of 2025, we boast a 99.3% live outcome rate.

Adoption fees

  • Dog Adoption Fee $50
  • Senior Dog Application Fee FREE

    Free for senior dogs 7 years and older

  • Cat Application Fee $50
  • Senior Cat Application Fee FREE

    Free for senior cats 7 years and older

If you would like to meet one of the animals currently in foster care, please contact our foster team.

To schedule a meet and greet with adoptable pets, contact awu@conwayarkansas.gov . Our team will work with you and the foster family to set up a time to meet the pet here at the center.

FAQ

Does the shelter have HVAC?

Yes.

Provide a copy of the rabies certificate at any local veterinarian or a copy to Conway Animal Services and a city tag will be issued. City tags are renewed once yearly.

You can file a complaint with the Conway Animal Services. The next step would be to keep a log of how long the dog barks and at what times.

Shelter Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m.; Closed on Wednesday & Sunday

Rabies vaccination is Arkansas State Law and city ordinance. A city license provides Animal Services the proper information to return a lost animal back to its rightful owner.

We can not recommend one however  we can provide you with a list of local veterinarians that provide those services.

We always have animals available for adoption and encourage people to adopt from local shelters.

Deceased or dead animals are removed by placing a call to Animal Services at 501-450-6160, Option 2.

Depending on the type of wildlife you are encountering we may be able to assist you. Never approach wildlife on your own.

Your local veterinarian may be able to provide you with a list of trainers.
