After 75 years of being a fixture for recreation in the Conway and Mayflower communities, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and its partners are proud to announce the Commission's approval of a large-scale project to improve fish habitats, enhance boating lanes for current and future anglers, modernize and repair the aging water control structure, and upgrade public access points. This project will only increase the value to the communities that surround the lake and will ensure that Arkansans will enjoy the resource for generations to come.
In the coming weeks, the Commission is expected to loosen regulations on Lake Conway to allow the community to catch the fish in the waterbody to prevent wanton waste of the resource.
